Dr. Ashutosh Acharya is a Senior Assistant Professor at Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He has more than ten years of teaching experience at National Law University, Jodhpur and University of Delhi jointly. During these enriching years he has taught various subjects including International Law, Jurisprudence, Special Contracts, IPR, Maritime Law and Evidence etc. He has various publications to his credit and has presented papers in various National and International Conferences and has been adjudged best presenter on occasions. He has also been a chair and a judge in these conferences and Moot Court Competitions. At University of Delhi Dr. Acharya has added to its accolade prestigious Major research projects on Mediation; Traditional Wisdom and indigenous communities; and Role of Protection Officer; sanctioned and funded by Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India respectively. He has edited a book on Mediation which was released by Hon’ble Justice Sanjay Kishan Koul, Judge, Supreme Court of India and has edited and published a book on International Law: Contemporary Developments, released by the then Hon’ble Minister of Law and Justice Shri Kiren Rijiju. At Law Centre-II, Dr. Acharya has organised International conferences on Mediation and AI at multiple times that witnessed luminaries from all around the world. Being the Co-Convenor of Moot Court Society at Law Centre-II, Dr. Acharya is entrusted to organise International Moot Court Competition annually. Moreover, Dr. Acharya plays instrumental role in the academic life of the students at Faculty of Law.
