Dr. Amrendra Kumar is an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi, India from February, 2018. Prior to this, he had been Assistant Professor (Guest) at Campus Law Centre (CLC), Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi, India in year 2017-18. He has been awarded with Ph.D. and M.Phil. Degrees from Centre for International Legal Studies (CILS), School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. He has completed LL.M. Degree from University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS), GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi, India; M.B.L. Degree from Professional and Continuing Education (PACE), National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, India, and LL.B. Degree from Law Centre-I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi, India.
He teaches several law subjects in postgraduate and research courses in the center and faculty for odd and even semesters such as Fundamental of Laws (Ph.D. Coursework); Legal Research Methodology; and Law and Justice in Global World (LL.M. Course) and Public International Law, Private International Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law and Company Law (LL.B. Course). He actively organizes regular tutorials, special lectures, annual orientations, seminars and conferences at center and faculty level. He is also member of editorial committees of journal, admission and administrative committees, library and sports committees of this center.
His research and studies lie in subjects of International Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Health Law. He has contributed several chapters (Springe, Palgrave, Routledge, Thomson Reuters and Eastern Book Company), articles (Taylor & Francis, Springer, and Sage), annual reviews (Oxford University Press) and book reviews (Cambridge University Press) in different edited books, yearbooks, journals and magazines of international and national repute. He is member of several national and international academic, research and professional associations engaged in teaching, research, advocacy and consultancy for law and policy.
